Barranco Ateliê is an independent art space founded in 2022 by artists Valdson Ramos, Joardo Filho, and Talles Lopes in Anápolis, Goiás, with a focus on exchange, practice, and experimentation in contemporary art. The studio’s mission is to create conditions for the production, circulation, and presentation of artworks, aiming to decentralize the art circuit and foster artists’ autonomy by offering a space for artistic proposal, reflection, and investigation.
Located in the historic downtown area of Anápolis, Barranco Ateliê aims to explore the role of artistic practice in the local community and its contribution to society. This mission is carried out through initiatives such as exhibitions, artist residencies, workshops, lectures, talks, and other activities that connect the surrounding neighborhood and the local public with the contemporary art scene.
